John T. Cook
John graduated from the University of Georgia in 1982 with an A.B. degree in History. He continued his studies at the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating in 1985.
John began his professional career in Savannah, Georgia with Oliver, Maner & Gray, as an insurance defense litigation attorney. Upon relocating to Middle Tennessee in 1989, he joined Denney, Lackey & Chernau, which later became Chernau, Milam & Weiss. While with the prior firm, John handled all aspects of real estate transactions, including sales, financing, leasing, development. He also worked in entity formation and administration, and bankruptcy and limited litigation matters.
In 1994, John founded John T. Cook, P.C., and its sister company, Attorneys Title Company, Inc., now with a combined workforce of attorneys and staff numbering 13.
Member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association , American Bar Association, and State Bar of Georgia.
Admitted to practice law in Georgia in 1985 and Tennessee in 1989. Areas of practice are Corporate Law and Real Estate Law.
Andrew T. Wood
Andrew graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Political Science and History. He earned a Master Degree in Public Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2011. Andrew completed his studies at the
Belmont University College of Law, graduating in 2015.
After passing the Tennessee Bar, Andrew worked as a civil litigation attorney in Nashville, with an emphasis on business law, before being hired as Assistant General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. In 2017, Andrew joined the staff of Attorneys Title Company, Inc.
Also in 2017, Andrew passed the Kentucky Bar, and is admitted to practice law in both Tennessee and Kentucky. Andrew’s focus is Commercial Real Estate Law and Corporate Law.
